While we, too, represent several large national insurance companies, we also offer products underwritten by regional US and Florida domiciled companies whose primary interest is insuring Florida residents as well as those who own property and businesses in Florida. The Owners
Brad Burton
Brad Burton's insurance career began as a personal lines underwriter with Travelers Insurance Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was soon promoted to the position of Account Manager for Travelers Sponsored Marketing Division in Atlanta, Georgia. Brad moved to Naples, Florida in 1996 where he was the Director of Underwriting and Customer Service for Florida Family Insurance Company. Brad later served with Tower Hill Insurance Group as Vice President of Underwriting. Realizing that his wealth of knowledge and experience in the insurance industry would be a great asset as an insurance agent, he and wife Kathleen formed Burton Insurance Services in 2004. Before his insurance career, Brad was an active duty Army officer and pilot flying the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter. He also is a member of the Tennessee Army National Guard. Brad is a graduate of The University of Tennessee.
Kathleen Derum Burton
Kathleen Burton's insurance career began with the Aetna in Atlanta, Georgia as an independent agency marketing representative. She later moved with Aetna to Alabama where she oversaw the recruitment and management of the independent agency force. Kathleen later moved back to Atlanta where she worked for Southern Heritage Insurance Company in several capacities including Regional Sales and Underwriting Manager. Kathleen moved to Naples, Florida in 1997 where she served as Director of Marketing for Florida Family Insurance Company and later with Tower Hill Insurance Group as Vice President of Marketing. She and husband Brad Burton formed Burton Insurance Services in 2004. Kathleen is a graduate of North Georgia College in Dahlonega, Georgia.
